Check Card Services
For convenience and cash access, ask for a Credit Union Visa Check Card. It
looks like any other Visa card, and is just as readily accepted, but it works
like a plastic check. Use it for cash advances and for purchases with the
added bonus of Purchase Security and Extended Warranty Protection, $250,000
Travel Accident Insurance, Collision Damage Waiver Insurance, and a Buyer's
Reward rebate on all qualified purchases. Transactions will be charged to your
SMA; if your balance is low, charges will have the same Overdraft Protection
as your checks. No annual fee. No finance charge unless you access a loan
through overdraft coverage.
ATM Access
Your Credit Union Visa Check Card doubles as an access card at ATMs and POS (Point of Sale) locations. With your Credit Union Visa Check Card and PIN (Personal ID Number), you can withdraw cash at most network ATMs (Automated Teller Machines) nationwide and even overseas. (The most favorable exchange rate for local currency overseas is through an ATM.) Sign up for cards for your joint owners, too.
