Any child up to the age of 12 years old who fulfills the Credit Union's standard membership requirements is eligible. Every child, grandchild, brother or sister of a member automatically qualifies for membership. With his/her own Social Security number and a $5 opening deposit, your child can open an account and begin to save. As an added incentive, there is no membership fee associated with Kids Accounts.

Once the the account is opened the child will receive a welcome letter, activity book, savings passbook, and a collectible Sacagawea golden coin! Kids Account Members will enjoy similar benefits of a Share Management Account, plus periodic mailings and special rewards based on annual savings. The parent or guardian who enrolls a child in a Kids Account will receive an informative brochure on how to help the child learn about money.
