USAlliance Federal Credit Union Selects Vertifi to Modernize its Mobile Banking Solutions

Rye, New York, October 8, 2014,-The 75,000 member USAlliance Federal Credit Union announced today that it has successfully implemented a new, cutting edge Mobile Banking solution. USAlliance selected Massachusetts-based Vertifi Software, LLC to provide one of the financial service industry’s most comprehensive package of features and benefits for members. This solution contains smart phone and tablet device applications for the iOS and Android operating platforms. Vertifi was selected for its rich functionality, extensibility and ease of customization.

"Since introducing mobile banking five years ago we have made significant enhancements to reflect the ways in which our members prefer and expect to interact with us," said Kevin Randall, Vice President of Electronic Systems at USAlliance. “We now have a solution that will allow us to continue to expand our platform and provide our users with the highest levels of usability, speed and convenience."

As part of its recent deployment, USAlliance introduced Quick Balances, a new mobile feature that allows members to access their account balances without logging into mobile banking. In addition, several features were developed to rely upon native code interfaces for superior performance, including the ability for USAlliance members to view account balances (including credit card balances) and transaction histories (including pending transactions), transfer funds, pay bills, and make check deposits with real-time posting. What’s more, members may make credit card payments, request a cash advance, find nearby branch/ATM locations and, take advantage of free monthly credit scores.

Updates to the iOS apps, which will take advantage of Touch ID biometric authentication for an improved user experience, are presently in the works.
